We work with material and tool options that you may already have at home, making the process accessible and approachable.
You can access the content whenever you want, so you can progress at your own pace and return to it when you need to.

Our History
Kalipso was founded in 2015 as a project to fund Industrial Design studies. Through a university program, we connect with communities in different states of Mexico, offering workshops to people seeking income for their families.
Today, from our workshop in Tulum, we apply those experiences to create notebooks made 100% by hand with recycled and reused materials.
With ethics and environmental responsibility, we give new life to recycled cardboard, sugarcane paper and leftover textiles from the fashion industry, turning them into art: notebooks that safeguard thoughts, memories and dreams.
Kalipso is more than a notebook, it is a tool for expression, transformation and manifestation.

We believe that a notebook is a space to organize ideas, hold onto dreams, plan projects, listen to yourself honestly, and CREATE.
We are inspired by slow processes, meaningful objects, and the belief that building with our hands adds depth to everyday rituals.
Kalipso is our way of sharing that way of existing.
Our commitment
We make 100% handmade notebooks in our workshop in the Tulum jungle.
It's not mass production, it's a handcrafted process.
We put care and attention into every detail, combining sustainability, identity, and personal expression.
Through conscious design, artisanal processes, and educational workshops, we seek to honor handmade work, support communities and individuals in vulnerable contexts, and create spaces where creativity becomes a source of empowerment, expression, learning, and connection.

Together we're like creative dynamite. Amid laughter, crazy ideas, trial and error, each of us contributes something unique that gives our own flavor to the Kalipso Mexico recipe.
Structured, intuitive, some lovers of detail and others of color and texture… and it is precisely this mix that gives our notebooks their own soul.
We share the same foundation: respect for handmade items, love for the processes, and the certainty that creating is also a way of creating new bonds.
Rodrigo
Industrial Design and Management
He works best when he's a little angry (true story). A canoeing enthusiast, tireless cyclist, and a true bear at heart: big, strong, and kind-hearted. An expert at making the impossible happen, especially under pressure.
Melon
Management and Administration.
A Zen-level perfectionist, a lover of order, cleanliness, and well-designed systems. A business administrator, dance and yoga teacher, with a soul deeply connected to nature.
Tania
Textile production and design.
A true lover of purple (anything purple), a textile designer, and a passionate canoe enthusiast. If it has color, texture, and good vibes… it probably passed through her hands.
